Police Services

For a police emergency or to report a crime in progress, dial 9-1-1 immediately. To report a crime that has already occurred and involved injury, threats, or danger, contact the Goodyear Police Department’s non-emergency line at 623-932-1220. To file a police report online, click HERE.

Trash & Recycling

Solid Waste Services supports the collection of residential trash, recycling, and bulk items.

Street Parking

Common parking complaints involve on-street parking. Parking a licensed vehicle on City streets is not a City Code violation; however, many subdivisions prohibit on-street parking through HOA CC&Rs, which are enforced by the HOA. To report on-street parking concerns, click HERE to contact your HOA.

The Goodyear Police Department enforces parking regulations for commercial vehicles (2-ton capacity or greater), no-parking zones, handicapped spaces without proper placards, sidewalks, vehicles facing the wrong direction, or vehicles parked more than 18 inches from the curb. To report these issues, call the non-emergency line at 623-932-1220.

Traffic, Signs & Signals

The Traffic Operations Division maintains the City’s traffic signals, traffic signs, fiber optics, traffic counts, school flashers, crosswalks, illuminated street name signs, and streetlights. Requests regarding broken, flickering, or non-functioning streetlights, as well as damaged or missing street signs, can be submitted below.

Code Enforcement

Code Enforcement helps address concerns related to private property compliance. To submit a request, select the appropriate option below:

  • Weeds/Trees/Shrubs/Overgrowth on Private Property: City code requires property owners to maintain landscaping, including removing weeds over 6 inches tall and trimming vegetation that obstructs the public right-of-way. Some subdivisions also enforce landscaping standards through HOA CC&Rs. Click HERE to contact your HOA.
  • Public Nuisance: outdoor storage
  • Parking: Commercial, inoperable, recreational, trailers etc. parked on private property
  • Property Maintenance: Broken window, fence maintenance, green pool, roof maintenance, peeling paint, mechanical work, etc.
  • Assisted Living: traffic, noise, signs, vehicles
  • Graffiti: graffiti, vandalism on block walls, signposts, buildings, etc.
  • Water: Irrigation, backwashing pools, uncontrolled water running from faucets, etc.
  • Signs: A-frame, balloons, banners, flags, political, yard sale etc.

Animals

If you are experiencing any of the issues listed below, select the appropriate option below:

  • Animal Nuisances: Animal feces, excessive waste, excessive noise or odors, barking dogs, presence of flies and insects, unpermitted animals
  • Barking Dogs: Review the barking dog complaint process along with important phone numbers related to animal nuisances by clicking HERE.
  • Dead Animal Pickup

To report an immediate emergency, such as an aggressive or loose animal in the roadway, an animal attack, or a bite, call the Goodyear Police Department at 623-932-1220.

If you witness an animal being abused or living in unsafe conditions, contact the Arizona Humane Society at 602-997-7585, ext. 2073.

Water & Sewer

The Water Services Department provides essential services in the areas of utilities and stormwater for Goodyear Water Customers. Use Service Area Finder  for specific address service provider information.
