However, many subdivisions have Homeowner’s Association (HOA) Covenants, Conditions, & Restrictions (CC&Rs) that prohibit on-street parking. These rules are enforced by the HOA. Weeds / Trees / Shrubs / Overgrowth on Private Property
City code requires property owners to maintain landscaping, remove weeds taller than 6 inches, and prune trees or shrubs that obstruct the public right-of-way. These are among the most common overgrowth-related concerns reported by residents. However, many subdivisions have Homeowner’s Association (HOA) Covenants, Conditions, & Restrictions (CC&Rs) that also require landscape maintenance.
