Street Parking

Category: Parking
Parking a licensed vehicle on city streets is not a City Code violation. However, many subdivisions have Homeowner’s Association (HOA) Covenants, Conditions, & Restrictions (CC&Rs) that prohibit on-street parking. These rules are enforced by the HOA. To report on-street parking concerns, click HERE to contact your HOA.

The Goodyear Police Department will enforce parking regulations in the following situations:
  • Any commercial vehicle of 2-ton capacity or greater parked in a residential district
  • A vehicle parked facing the opposite direction of traffic
  • A vehicle parked more than eighteen inches (18") from the curb
  • A vehicle parked in a no-parking zone
  • A vehicle parked on the sidewalk

If you need to report a parking problem, the Goodyear Police Department encourages you to call their non-emergency line at 623-932-1220.
